From AwlaVision Wiki

The AwlaVision Song Contest, often shortened ASC, or Awla, is an international song competition organised almost monthly by the Awla Broadcasting Union among its member states, which are primarily European countries, together with some north African and middle eastern ones. Each participating country submits an original song to be performed on live television and radio, transmitted to national broadcasters via the ABU's television and radio networks, with competing countries then casting votes for the other countries' songs to determine a winner. The current and official ASC developer is the Finnish Gabriel Rautio.

The first edition was held in Helsinki, Finland, and it was organised by Yleisradio (YLE). The final took between 6th December 2015 and 23rd December 2015. Eleven countries participated and the first contest was won by Sweden. Faster after the first edition the popularity of the competition started to grow inside and outside the ABU broadcasting area.
